AppLine
AppLine is a MagiC only program which provides a Windows 95 style button bar. As programs are launched a corresponding button is added to the button bar.
Any application can be activated by clicking its button or configured by holding down the [Control] key (or right mouse button) and selecting the desired button which displays the options popup menu (left).
AppLine offers over a dozen options which can be selected by editing APPLINE.INF using an ASCII text editor (Notice, Everest etc). In the example above the buttons colours have been assigned, green for the desktop, red for desktop accessories and blue for other applications. Several alternative resource (RSC) files are included so you should find one you're happy with.
AppLine supports Drag & Drop via the AV protocol and includes ST-Guide hypertext help. If you're missing the Windows 95 Start button you should take a look at Start Me Up! which is designed to work alongside AppLine.
