Fantasy Island

(This page was adapted from an article first published (in Swedish) in the Atari World Scandanavian supplement).
Here's my virtual message in a bottle. I'm typing this in Everest on a Mac Duo Powerbook running MagiC Mac while I wait for girl Friday to pop out from behind that coconut tree over there.

While I'm waiting I've caught up on the hundreds of emails still marked for attention and I've even finished the translations I've been sitting on for ages. First drafts are generated using Ruftrade and Interface fired up to translate the RSC files and create icons. I've always enjoyed designing icons, with a limited number of pixels to play with coming up with decent icons isn't easy -spare me a thought next time you click on the Kandinsky, Posimage or other icons I've designed for these pages and elsewhere over the years!

My favourite working environment is Thing, Freedom and ST-Guide, my copies of Gemini and Selectric were dashed on the rocks during the shipwreck. I've also been using NVDI and Kobold so long I've forgotten exactly why I need them but I'd feel very lonely without them - happily they were washed up onshore along with a few simple games including Tetris, Mah Jong, Pacman, Breakout and Pinball.

Ah, the low power warning just appeared on the Powerbook so I'm off to find girl Friday...
